'Hannibal' actor Gaspard Ulliel has died in a ski accident at age 37

Gaspar Ulliel, who played young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising and starred in a long-term relationship with Audrey Tautou, has died in a skiing accident at the age of 37, authorities in Albertville, France, say. Ulliel also played Yves Saint Laurent in the 2007 biopic of the fashion icon and stars of the upcoming Marvel movie Moon Knight.
Authorities said Ulil collided with another skier at a resort in the French Alps. He was taken to a hospital in Grenoble, where he died of his injuries. The other skater was not hospitalized.
Ulil started acting at the age of twelve. He won two Césars, the French equivalent of an Academy Award. In 2005, he won the Cesar Award for Most Promising Entry. Twelve years later, he won the César for Best Actor for Juste la Vin du Monde, along with Marion Cotillard and Léa Seydoux. He also worked as a model.
In 2010, Oliel played the famous French director in a Martin Scorsese Chanel ad. The role was not just a fantasy. In 2011, he told Anthem that he hopes to release it someday.
